Hailed as the Oscar for industrial design, the 2014 awarding party for the iF Product Design Award was held on the evening of February 28 in Munich. Out of the 4,615 pieces of work from 55 countries, 75 of them remarkably won iF gold award. Among them, the work of Gu Teng, chief interior designer of Times Property, stood out from the competition and was recognized with the iF gold award, the highest award in the iF Communication Design (Interior) discipline. Gu was one of the only five Chinese winners in the competition.

The iF Product Design Award which just came to a perfect ending in Munich this year was one of the three international awards for industrial design. Five famous Chinese designers received their trophies and passed down the excellent tradition and performance of Chinese in this award, including Li Xuheng from Taiwan, Ajax Law Ling Kit and Li Bo from Hong Kong, and Gu Teng, Chen Fangxiao from mainland China. The work of Gu Teng, "Investment Center for Culture Complex of Times Property," was awarded for its modern, simple, and fashionable style.

This design is integrated with pure, simple, but elegant elements, making it full of the spirit of vogue. The reception area on the first floor is unified, transparent, and uncomplicated with its spatial layout divided by several large white differently-shaped objects. The seemingly spontaneous and casual style can thoroughly relax the behavior, emotion and consciousness of clients. Deceptively empty, it is factually filled with soundless, colorless and odorless memories. Undeniably, what one can appreciate in this exquisite and delicate space is not just unique and splendid artworks, but also resonance from the bottom of one's heart.

In the office area on the second floor, the massive use of glass has added the transparency of the space to make the view beyond the window become a part of the chamber. The designer has intended to produce a natural interaction between the outdoor landscapes and the office area so that standing indoor, people will have the feeling while enjoying the scenery outside that the window, the building and themselves are also part of the view in the eyes of passers-by.

The design of Times Property has been winning warm praise from customers and the industry. The No.10 Art Gallery of Times Bund received the London FX International Interior Design Awards, the most influential award in the field, in 2013. Later, the Gallery received the reputable New York Hospitality Design Awards (HD Awards). Following is the iF Product Design Award by Gu Teng. The products of Times Property have received increasing recognition and praise from its global peers.
