Recently, Young Entrepreneurs Committee of Guangzhou Federation of Industry & Commerce (hereinafter referred to as the Committee) was established and the first committee conference was held at the International Conference Center of Times Culture Complex Phrase II, Vice Chairman of Guangzhou Federation of Industry & Commerce (GZFIC), Chairman and President of Times Property Mr. Shum Chiu Hung was elected as the chairman of the Committee. Deputy Director of United Front Work Department of Guangzhou Municipal Party Committee and Party Secretary of GZFIC Mr. Zhang Jingchu and other leaders were present in the conference and gave important speeches.

In order to reserve talents, promote communication among representatives of Guangzhou non-public economic sectors and improve the quality and capability of a new generation of private entrepreneurs, GZFIC had already embarked on the establishment of the Committee, aiming to set up a service platform for promoting development of young entrepreneurs since last year.

All attendants visited Creative Park at Times Culture Complex prior to the conference. The Creative Park, constructed on the basis of Museum of Migrant Workers and Guangzhou City Mark Park, demonstrates itself as a “new cultural landmark of Guangzhou”. Being enchanted by it, all attendants showed great appreciation to Times Property’s effort on promoting development of the city, and expressed wishes to learn from the company.

During the conference, the first leadership group of the Committee was elected. Vice Chairman of GZFIC, Chairman and President of Times Property Mr. Shum Chiu Hung was elected as the chairman of the Committee. In addition, the Committee also invited Chairman of GZFIC as well as President of Kingfa Science and Technology Co., Ltd. Mr. Yuan Zhimin, Secretary of the Guangzhou Municipal Committee of the Communist Youth League of China Wei Guohua, and other outstanding private entrepreneurs and directors from relevant authorities to act as consultants.

Party Secretary of GZFIC Mr. Zhang Jingchu gave a speech delivering his hope of establishing the Committee as a name card of GZFIC and the General Chamber of Commerce, and as a service platform for promoting study and communication among young entrepreneurs so as to improve their quality and capability and the progress of representatives of non-public economic sectors.

As the first chairman of the Committee, Mr. Shum pledged in his speech to establish a platform for better service and development, to create a united and thriving working environment for the Committee and to build a “home of young entrepreneurs” under the guidance of GZFIC and the General Chamber of Commerce and everyone’s intelligence and hard work. In such way, the Committee will help promote new urbanization and contribute more to controlling over commanding heights of Guangzhou’s economy.

GZFIC, as the “home” to non-public enterprises and industrial and commercial personages, has been leading its members to vitality and excellent performance, promoting better development and encouraging them to repay the society. As the first chairman of the Committee, President Shum will adhere to the principle of the Committee, leading young entrepreneurs to make progress and building a real “home of young entrepreneurs” while promoting the development of enterprises and assuming social responsibilities.
