The Head of Luogang District Highly Praises Times Property’s Reconstruction of Old Villages during His Investigation into the Project of Hongwei Village
Accompanied by Bai Xihong, the general manager of Times Property (Guangzhou), Li Hongwei, the head of Luogang District, accompanied the leading officers from functional departments including the Urban Planning Land and Resources Bureau, the Bureau of Construction, Urban Utilities and Landscaping, the Agricultural, Forest and Water Resources Bureau, Jiulong Town, the Urban Renovation Office, the Command, the Demolition and Relocation Office, and the Communist Party Administration Office to have an investigation into Times Property’s reconstruction project of the old Hongwei Village. Moreover, he held a special conference with those from the three committees (the Party branch, the village committee and the committee of villager supervision) of Hongwei Village and the department in charge of the reconstruction project of Hongwei Village.
In the investigation, Mr Li spoke highly of Hongwei Village and Times Property for their efforts in the renovation of the old village, requiring and encouraging the village committee to quicken the contract signing for the collective real property of the village. He also expressed his hope that the three committees and the Party member cadres of the village could show greater enthusiasm in the relocation and cooperate with their colleagues in the department in charge of this project in Hongwei Village to lead the progress and try their best to finish the relocation this year.
Li suggested that Times Property and the working team of the Committee of Hongwei Village should make joint efforts in finishing relevant formalities about planning and construction so that the re-construction settlement area of Hongwei Village could be established as early as possible. Additionally, Mr. Li says that the Committee and the Government of Luogang District will take the initiative in forming a special work guidance team for the reconstruction of Hongwei Village, giving full support for the reconstruction project.
In the investigation, MR. Li highly praised the work done for the reconstruction project, which enhanced the confidence of Times Property and the working team of the Committee of Hongwei Village in further progress. At present, the department in charge of Hongwei Village Project is collaborating with the three committees and all villagers of Hongwei Village to finish the contract signing for the relocation, striving to offer the villagers a “life they look forward to” as early as possible and make greater progress in Timer Property’s entry into the new Huangpu District.
