On March 15, the first Qingyuan International Marathon got underway at 8 a.m. sharp, and participants from around the world braved a pelting rain to test their mettle. As the largest-scale mass sport event in Qingyuan, the marathon had more than 12,000 participants.

The marathon was sorted into Full, Semi and Mini. The course ran through the city center and along the shores of the River. Times King City (Qingyuan), being situated along the full-distance race, gave the residents--and the runners--a great view of the stunning scene as it unfolded along the Qingyuan Beijiang River, further providing a chance to understand the opportunities and challenges present in the city. Ultimately, it served to promote Times King City (Qingyuan).  

As a partner in the first Qingyuan International Marathon, Times Property not only gave full support to the Qingyuan Municipal Government in the monumental effort to organize the event, but it also helped convey the lure of the project to competitors and participants. Through promotion leading up to and during the marathon, Times Property was able to demonstrate its unique stature in Qingyuan. Moreover, the Qingyuan branch of Times Property participated in the event. A team of more than 60 dedicated people, led by Mr. Zhou Siyang, general manager of Foshan branch and Yu Fei, general manager of Qingyuan branch and including managerial personnel and staff from the Qingyuan branch, dove headlong into the event. They shouted encouragement to the runners, thus demonstrating the image of Times members, who are known for the values of health, perseverance and vitality.

Thus the marathon presented a new Qingyuan to people everywhere, providing a way for the entire world to learn more about Qingyuan. Moreover, the marathon’s spirit of "self-challenge, beyond limits, perseverance and persistence" has been carried forth, by which it will continue to play a role in building a Qingyuan of happiness.
