On May 20, China Daily also reported on the unique sound-installation art program in a story titled, "Ten photos you don't wanna miss -- May 20." Over the two months in which the program has run, more than 20,000 passengers have thrilled to the sound journey specially designed for Guangzhou by a team of British artists. The program has captured considerable attention from all sectors, due in large part to the manner in which it contributes to the area's repertoire of special, cooperative exhibits and events.

In early 2015, the first tram route in Guangzhou became operational. It runs from Wanshengwei to Canton Tower, allowing passengers to pass through the picturesque scenery along the river. As part of the process, Times Museum worked with Guangzhou Tram to create the first domestic "tram art" series, by which contemporary art could be integrated with the tram's progress through the environment. The program is the first public art exhibit having Times Museum's participation in downtown Guangzhou, and it's the first domestic event to bring contemporary art into a public space. At the end of March, Times Museum, together with the Cultural and Education Section of the British Embassy and Guangzhou Tram Co., Ltd., presented the poetical tram work created by British artists' collective known as Circumstance: "Sitting-still-Moving: Times Museum Art on Track." Passengers aboard the special art tram would listen to the sounds of the city through the convenience of headsets.

Times Museum Curator Mr. Zhao Ju commented on the program: "This is a very challenging task, since it needs an open-minded attitude. What we experience today is this British art collective's study and exploration of the city's cultural context. It is our hope that the project and experience will inspire us to rediscover the landscape and gain new insight on aspects of daily life that might otherwise be overlooked. We want it to be an opportunity for people from different sectors and lifestyles to interpret the experience in personal ways. We are convinced that contemporary public art is able to have such an effect."
