Times Property donated to construct the Special Education Building of Guangzhou Children's Welfare Institute in coordination with the Guangdong Poverty Relief Day activities in 2013. The facility's mission is both practical and symbolic, being intended to ensure better conditions for the well-being of orphans and disabled children. Thus the structure has been designated as the Times Benevolence Building. The construction process occupied nearly two full years, and the building was formally opened in May 2015. It features a dormitory for students, a language training room, a life-skills training room, a labor-skills training room, a music therapy room, a room for emotional solace and a sand-play room. Additionally, there are rooms for music and entertainment, reading and multimedia teaching, as well as an indoor-sports training area.
