Highlight III of Community Activities in August: The Color of My Childhood Children Painting Contest
After the excitement brought by the dragon in the Cool Summer Swimming Contest and the spectacular Water-Sprinkling Carnival, it was time to calm down and paint what we saw and how we felt. In this August, “The Color of My Childhood — the painting contest for children” was launched by the communities managed by the Times Property Management and set our mind and imagination free.
·The Activities
In the Times Laguna (Guangzhou) and Times Sweet House, environmental-friendly leaf painting activity attracted the attention of kids and their parents. The children were asked to gather colorful leaves of different shapes from the garden for their paintings. “For the first time, picking up leaves feels like treasure hunt!” Liu Bingchao, a five-year-old boy, said with joy. The parents burst into laughter upon hearing that. “The Peacock’s Tail”, “Little Fish and Its Family”, “The World of Flowers and Plants”, “The Underwater World” – all these creative leaf paintings created by kids and their parents were so vivid that the Nature were rolled out before our eyes.
·The Activities
While leaf painting was in full swing, “Interesting Garbage Sorting” was refreshing as well. Grandma Yang guided her granddaughter, Yue Yue, to sort garbage and shot the sorted waste into the garbage bins with her. The fulfillment of meeting all the goals made the grandma and her granddaughter exited.
·Harvest of The Activities
In Times Cuiyi Garden (Guangzhou), Mrs Li invited her good friend Mrs Liang to paint together with her own granddaughter. With their nimble hands and imagination, they soon wove a lively elephant with wool yarn and created a cute crab with mung beans, sesame and rice.
·Harvest of The Activities
In Times Eolia City, Little Kang pointed at the painting he had just completed and said excitedly, “Dad, look! Isn't there a song singing like this: little birds fly, up in the blue sky?” Mr Lai, Little Kang’s father, nodded with smile and his thumb up.
·The Activities
In Times Sweet Home, Jie Jie and Ming Ming took great efforts to finish painting the mountains, trees and the red sun and asked their mother to name the work – “Fiery-Red Sun”.
·The Activities
In Times City, kids eagerly explained to their parents. “Dad, I painted an orchard.” “Mom, it is a huge mountain.” “It is a banana!” “This is what was in my dream last night.” All the kids were presenting their painting to their parents like the most precious pieces they have made.
Leaf paintings, watercolor paintings, pencil paintings and crayon paintings… a colorful world was spread out in the communities of Times Property. With their parents, kids portrayed the kaleidoscopic world with their paintbrush, imagination and inspiration. The bond of family were strengthened in each stroke and smile they made.
