Times Zhuhai Branch and Shenzhen Branch Hold Zhuhai-Guangzhou 140-kilometer Orienteering
2015 Zhuhai-Guangzhou 140-kilometer Triathlon Orienteering was kicked off in front of the Zhuhai Huadian Plaza on the morning of 10th September. The activity lasted for three days: the 40-kilometer trekking from Zhuhai to Zhongshan on the first day, the 70-kilometer cycling from Zhongshan to Shunde on the second day, and the 30-kilometer trekking from Shunde to Guangzhou on the third day.

On the morning of the first day, forty energetic contestants all of whom were the staff of Times Group gather at the Zhuhai Huadian Plaza, bathing in the warm sunshine and refreshing breeze. They were ready to set off and to chase their dream in a spirit of the Times people.

At noon, they arrived at the first checkpoint after a four-hour journey. After the simple lunch and a short break, they headed for the downtown area of Zhongshan City through the NO.218 Provincial Road. With the support and encouragement from their companions, they kept trekking despite of their tiredness as if the trees, flowers and grass along the road were cheering for them. At about 17:00, Times King City (Zhongshan), the destination of day one, showed up in distance. All contestants dashed towards the destination completed the task, which marked a successful start of their journey.

On the second day's morning, 26 riders hit the road as early as 6:00 from the picturesque Zhongshan Jinzhong Reservoir and their destination was Shunde. On their way to the Bo'ai Road, they received rounds of applauses and cheers from the local citizens. Unlike commuting in a hurry for everyday work, cycling allowed them to carefully discover, to feel, and to be touched by the natural and cultural beauty of the city. Alongside the route, logistics colleagues explained to them the things that they needed pay attention to and the tasks. The warmth, considerate arrangement and the smiles were the biggest encouragement to the contestants.

After 7.5 hours of cycling, Shunde Country Garden Bridge finally appeared on the horizon. All of the riders sprinted for the last one kilometer while shouting: "Shunde, we are coming!"

The third day was the last day of the orienteering and it was also the day to witness the miracle. Though the previous two sessions made the contestants exhausted, they continued their journey towards the final destination. The will that had been supported them throughout the entire journey was their wish to measure the city in a different way. Today, their dream was fulfilled. In spite of all hardship, barriers and even dangers, they kept going. This would be an unforgettable memory of their youth.

Once you embark on the journey, the destination will no longer be far away. The 2015 Zhuhai-Guangzhou 140-kilometer Triathlon Orienteering, another complete success, again witnessed the spirit of the Times people and their unremitting pursuit of new success.
