Walk for Love - The Family Charity Activity kicked off simultaneously in the Times communities in Guangzhou, Foshan, Zhuhai, Qingyuan and Changsha on the morning of 7^th November 2015. Over 1,000 homeowners, staff, and philanthropists in total participated in the activity. Mr. Shum Chiu Hung, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Times Property, and Ms. Li Yiping, President of the Guangzhou Times Property Charity Foundation, joined nearly 250 staff from the company, loving homeowners, and volunteers from the foundation in the "Walk for Love" held at Times Sweet House (Foshan) in Foshan.

The activity is organized to raise fund to provide meals for the underprivileged through walking. Since its launch, a total 200 million steps have been collected, and Times Property Charity Foundation has donated 300,000 yuan for over 20,000 loving meals.

Guangzhou Times Property Charity Foundation was founded in 2003 by Shum Chiu Hung, CEO and Chairman of the Board of Directors of Times Property. It is one of the very first charity foundations initiated by real-estate developers. In 2007, the foundation was officially registered with the Department of Civil Affairs of Guangdong Province, and later entitled as Guangzhou Times Property Charity Foundation in 2012.

The foundation holds to its mission of "Sincerity, Kindness, Virtue, and Joy", advocates the concept of "Corporate Citizenship", and promotes the value of "Sow the Seed and Harvest Love". It has also innovated the practice of charity to "provide material aids through cultural activities", helping to re-form people's way of living, to re-shape the culture, and to promote the social charity image of "A Fair Soul of Love".

Up till now, Times Foundation has contributed to the construction of two general hospitals, thirten Hope Primary Schools in the underdeveloped areas in China, and one Teaching and Rehabilitation Building in an orphanage. The foundation also helped over 3,000 patients suffering from cataract to regain their eyesight and over 30,000 students from the underprivileged families to pursue their education through more than 300 charity activities. In addition, the Times Museum, established and operated by the foundation, has been serving as the driving force for the development of the local culture and art, and has accumulatively donated over 300 million yuan.

Looking ahead, Times Foundation will uphold its mission and vision to spread the wings of love further. It will be dedicated to the course of charity and public benefits and so as to become a benchmark for Corporate Citizenship and Enterprise for Society.
