Times and Bund (Guangzhou) Dream, Art and Life Season Bursts Perfectly
On March 23 2013, CISV Tryout and "Baiyun Times" Cup Table Tennis External Open were held in No. 10 Art Museum at Times and Bund (Guangzhou). The two matches were conducted enthusiastically, providing a perfect introduction for "Dream, Art and Life Season" in March. More than 70 owners, not only from Times and Bund (Guangzhou) but also Times Laguna (Guangzhou) and Deconstruction (Guangzhou), took part and had a wonderful weekend together.
During the CISV tryout, students from the summer village and teachers from Dongfeng East Road Primary School participated in interactive games that helped them gain self-confidence and cultivate their abilities of independent thinking. Then, amid the enthusiastic atmosphere, the fierce competition started. This part included a one-minute self-introduction in English, followed by a three-minute talent show and situational oral defense of life in the summer village. The children actively prepared for the matches, and their parents cheered them on. The sole winner of all the matches was admitted to the 2013 CISV, and 11 families were allowed in the preliminary list of goodwill families.
On the same day in No. 10 Art Museum, Table Tennis "Baiyun Times" Cup External Open was held for a wildly enthusiastic audience. The best-of-three matches determined who would enter the succeeding rounds. The winner would be awarded RMB 1000 and the bats with signatures of world champions. The matches were fierce and full of highlights, and there was frequent competition between fathers and sons. The female players showed no weakness to their male counterparts and won bursts of applause with their outstanding performance.
Since this March, Times and Bund (Guangzhou) has held a series of activities based on the theme, "Dream, Art and Life." They have built a harmonious atmosphere and meanwhile continued to practice our corporate commitment of "helping more people to realize the life to which they can look forward" and further enhanced the habitat quality of Times Property.
