       During the holidays, Times and Bund (Guangzhou) held a serial activity called "Creative Art Travel" to illustrate the intersection of music, art and nature. There were games for the children, Sahaja Yoga to keep people in good health, and an art gala of music held by the Guangdong Nationalities Orchestra.

       The "Creative Art Travel" event fully embodied the meaning of the phrase "creative art." Visitors could make personalized paperweights with the most primitive raw materials, make DIY pottery and paint graffiti on the wall. Creating along with the children, the owners and visitors all had a wonderful time.

       Besides the "Creative Art Travel" aspect of the event, Times and Bund (Guangzhou) organized parent-child activities and a "Sahaja Yoga" Soul Music Salon with the public-benefit organization "Sahaja Yoga" on April 29. Guided by yoga instructors, visitors freed themselves from worries and experienced inner peace.

       On May 1, the Guangdong Nationalities Orchestra Society held a grand ceremony at No. 10 Art Gallery of Times and Bund (Guangzhou) to celebrate its establishment. Mr. Liu Xijin, president of the China Nationalities Orchestra Society, Mr. Yang Shu, the deputy director of the Guangdong Provincial Department of Culture, and Mr. Zheng Qiufeng, honorary chairman of the Guangdong Musicians Association, attended the ceremony. Guests included celebrities from circles of Guangdong composition, ethnic orchestra and Guangdong music as well as music-loving representatives from the business circle. The orchestra--a 100-person ensemble--gave an excellent performance at Xinghai Concert Hall. The magnificent, melodious music was a high point of the ceremony.
