The Elementary School and Kindergarten of Times Bund (Guangzhou) has the First Opening, Aiming to Bu
On August 25 and 26, 2013, the elementary school and kindergarten of Times Bund (Guangzhou) (hereafter referred to as Times Bund) had the first opening for owners to visit, which gathered more than 200 owners. They visited the elementary school and kindergarten under the guidance of the staff members, who gave a detailed introduction of the architecture designs, supporting facilities, school management standards, teachers, and enrolment of the two schools. After that, a Q&A section about the elementary school and kindergarten was held at the Private Theatre of Times Bund, in which the leaders and staff members of Guangzhou branch answered various questions of the owners about the elementary school and kindergarten in detail.
Refining the Support Facilities to Let Children Win at the Starting Point
The elementary school of Times Bund, which will be completed on November 30, 2013 and placed under the governance of Panyu Education Bureau, is a public support facility with the standard of a provincial first-level elementary school. The school has 38 classrooms, among which there are 13 functional rooms (including nature rooms, physics rooms, biology rooms, fine arts rooms, multimedia rooms, etc.). These rooms can comprehensively engage children’s interest and broaden their knowledge base. Additionally, the school is equipped with a 40m x 20m five-person field and three standard-size outdoor basketball courts. These are the first-class educational facilities among various communities in Guangzhou. When the children saw such a beautiful lawn and the brand-new running track, they couldn’t help to have a try to run on the track of the new school.
During the visit, the owners highly praised the artistic architecture and well-appointed classrooms without exception. "What a big classroom!" Children exclaimed with their innocent voices. "I believe that the school will be under normal operation by the time when Phase II is delivered," Mrs. Zhang said, "then it will be much more convenient for my child to go to school. And it's a provincial first-level elementary school as well, so I think the level of their education and teachers will be pretty high."
Following the International Education Patterns to Develop Children’s Diverse Visions
The kindergarten of Times Bund has already signed a contract with Canadian International Bilingual Kindergarten and will be operated by the Canadian International Education Organization. Under the governance of the Panyu Education Bureau, the kindergarten will be completed on November 30, 2013, and the latest process will begin in the spring. The kindergarten has 9 ordinary classrooms in total. Each of the classrooms has an area of approximately 120 m2, which can hold up to 24 children for studying and living. The kindergarten is also equipped with fine arts rooms, handwork room and a large room for music and games. According to the living habits and physiological characteristics of children, every classroom has an exclusive cloakroom and a room for activities and naps. Moreover, the kindergarten is equipped with a morning examination room, an infirmary, a food-preparation room and a laundry. Every detail of its design considers the demands of children and touches the hearts of parents and their kids.
The high-standard international education patterns of the elementary school and kindergarten of Times Bund, as well as their sound facilities, provide a superior studying environment for nearby children while deepening the cultural flavor and international atmosphere of the community.
