The 1st Lantern Festival Party for Changsha Times Property Owners Successfully Concludes

February 14, 2014 was not only the date of a sweet and romantic Valentine's Day, but also coincided with the Lantern Festival on the January 15 of the lunar calendar. The gorgeous encounter of the two festivals happened once 19 years ago, marking it a day for happiness and reunion. On the evening of February 14, Times King City (Changsha) threw a colorful and festive show for its owners: the Lantern Festival Party. The event was a perfect opportunity for children and parents to celebrate the traditional festival, and tightened the bond between neighborhoods.

On that date, the Marketing Center of Times King City was filled with a remarkable atmosphere of excitement and celebration. Colorful activities were arranged, for instance, guessing lantern riddles, self-making lanterns, beating a brass gong by blindfolded people, stepping on balloons, and singing. Large reusable bags were considerately distributed by the workers beside the reception desk to every participant so that the abundant and useful gifts they will win from activities could be easily brought back home.

Half an hour before the party started, the Marketing Center was already crowded with owners. The booth for singing saw an early start with owners' beautiful song, "Good Days." Guessing lantern riddles was an inspirational and interesting game. Consequently, at the very beginning of the game, one single riddle could amazingly attracted hundreds of participants. In the area for balloon-stepping, owners just could not wait in the long queue to win the cute dolls. Beaming faces could be seen on the owners who managed to win numerous dolls. While standing in the queue, participants waiting for beating the brass gong could not help busting into laughter owning to the amusing performances of other blindfolded participants who waved the hammers on the air without beating the gong. DIY lanterns, sugar-coated haws on sticks, and sugar painting were the most attractive to children. With tasty food, funny games and rich gifts, both the elders and children were lit up with pleasure. Till the end of the event, there was still an old man in high spirit singing a song for every owner.
