September 3^rd 2015 marked the 70^th anniversary of the victory of the World Anti-Fascist War and the Chinese People’s War of Resistance Against Japanese Aggression. In commemoration of this special event, Times Cloud Atlas (Guangzhou) held a defense-themed exhibition in the hope of propagating patriotism and publicizing knowledge on national defense, as well as of demonstrating its corporate strength and achieving sound social effect.

The themed event by Times Cloud Atlas (Guangzhou) was said to contain not only an outdoor exhibition of the active large weapons, but also an overall arrangement of the indoor settings and interactive games.

The Eye-catching Outdoor Exhibition of Large Weapons

An active Type-99 Main Battle Tank and a WS-2 Rocket Launcher were specially displayed in the open square outside the Sales Center of Times Cloud Atlas (Guangzhou). The Type-99 Main Battle Tank has a full weight of more than 51 tons and a full length of approximately 10 meters when the artillery is poised toward the front direction. With a wide application of composite armor, the Type-99 Main Battle Tank is qualitatively more defensive and protective than its predecessor, Type-80 Main Battle Tank, and is comparable to the third-generation main battle tanks in western countries. The WS-2 Rocket Launcher, on the other hand, currently boasts the largest caliber in China and the longest firing range in the world. There are numerous types of ammunitions for the WS-2 Rocket Launcher, chief among which are the two-way terminal-sensitive sub-munition and the earth penetrator. The video presentation displayed on the spot showed that the WS-2 Rocket Launcher could precisely hit its target. The grandeur displayed by these two heavy-weight weapons on the open square attracted the crowd.

Real Experience in Five Holo-authentic Interaction Zones

Inside the Sales Center were five interaction zones presenting models and games under the theme of national defense. The National Defense Weapon Model Exhibition Zone staged a feast of models of the most advanced weapons and defense equipment in China. Besides, the organizing team set up special zones for interaction. The somatosensory shooting game provided hyper-real shooting and thrilling simulated battle experience. The 9D movies stimulated the participants by immersing them in authentic situations to release them from the stress of life. The DIY of 3D models, a family activity involving both the parents and their children, strengthened their bond and enhanced their communication. Also the participants could take photos in military uniforms, an opportunity to capture those precious moments and memories.

The large-scale National Defense Weapon Exhibition held by Times Cloud Atlas (Guangzhou), with good-sized and fabulous weapons on display, not only drew people’s attention to the current hot issues, but also publicized its real estate projects to the visitors.
