Times City (Foshan), together with Fotile, started to delivered the "Door-to-door Kitchen Ventilator Cleaning Service" from 2nd September to over four thousand households in Phase I to III of the project. It is another significant activity organized exclusively for the homeowners after the photographing competition, birthday parties and the one-day tour.

Kitchen ventilator is an important piece of kitchenware in Chinese families. Therefore, Times City (Foshan) equips all of its apartments with brand kitchen ventilators as part of the interior decoration. Regular cleaning of kitchen ventilators can maintain the effectiveness and prolong the service life of the equipment, as well as keep the kitchen clean. The free cleaning service is provided exclusively to the homeowners who have already accepted their new apartments of Phase I to Phase III of the project. The households who request the service for the first time in two years after the acceptance are qualified to get their ventilators cleaned for free, while others can also enjoy the service with a preferential price of 120 yuan per time. The service covers removing the dust, washing and maintenance to give all kitchen ventilators a fresh new look and the homeowners a brighter and cleaner kitchen.

In addition to the free housekeeping service, the “One-day Tour in Guangzhou” was also very popular among the homeowners. Going as a group, or more like a family, the homeowners enhanced the friendship with each other while enjoying the tour to the Leping historic site. Mrs. Zhang, one of the homeowners of Phase III, told us that the special event allowed her to make new friends with many of her neighbors and that though they might see each other in the community from time to time, having a tour together was not something that happened very often. Such activities indeed serve as the platform provided by Times City (Foshan) to its proprietors to communicate and make friends and the opportunities to know each other better.
