To celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival, Times Long Island (Guangzhou) designed a series of activities to entertain their clients, including full-dome films, flower feast, Chinese zither performance and lantern DIY workshop. All these activities greatly enriched the traditional festival for the visitors.

 

Activity One: Watching Space Movies

If you are still amazed by the visual effect of 3D IMAX, then you are already out of date. You should see the Full-dome Pro360° Movie Theater introduced by us in this Mid-Autumn Festival! Its fantastic view would bring the universe closer to you and give you the extremely amazing experience of traveling to the outer space.

With the high definition full-dome and the digital 5.1 surround sound stereo, you do not need 3D glasses to enjoy an incredible audio and visual experience, far more better than that of 3D movie or IMAX movie.

Short films like Flying To the Moon, the Shape of the Universe, the Park of the Outer Space, and Measuring the Outer Space were shown in this activity. They brought people closer to the universe and enabled them to appreciate the vast universe from different angles. Because each movie was only 15 minutes, the audience was far from being satisfied and all asked for encore.

Activity Two: Tasting Flower Delicacies

Imagine fragrant flowers as food! Times Long Island (Guangzhou) brought to the clients a great feast of flowers, whose fragrance, appearance and taste deeply impressed them.

At the feast, a runway show of evening dresses sponsored by CHANEL was presented, in which all dresses were decorated or even made by real flowers. Models looked elegant and gorgeous in these flower-dresses.

Additionally, a Chinese zither (a 25-stringed plucked musical instrument) performer dressed like a flower fairy played the instrument at the feast, and the beautiful music indulged the clients.

Children were also having fun making their own lanterns under the guidance of professional instructors.
