The "The Second-hand Exchange Program & Inauguration Ceremony of the Lei Feng Volunteer Service Mission" was held by the Times Property Charity Foundation Changsha at the Sales Center of Times King City (Changsha) on 31^st October. The second-hand exchange program and the service team will play an indispensible role in improving the community development, closing the ties among homeowners, and forging a harmonious community environment.

At 10:00, the “Foundation Ambassadors” showed up in the well-prepared venue at the Sales Center of Times King City (Changsha). The moderator then announced the opening of the ceremony and introduced the Community Lei Feng Volunteer Service Mission. The Lei Feng Mission of Times King City (Changsha) is a team consisting of staff from Times Property and Times Property Management Company, as well as volunteers from the group’s charity society. Affiliated to the Community Volunteer Service Station, the team is aimed to provide all kinds of volunteer service for charity purpose, including wedding ceremony planning, free tool kit service, one-on-one daily support for the elderly who live alone, etc. Upholding the concept of “Livable Times, Happy King City”, the mission will bring a more convenient life to the homeowners in the community. The Mission also received warm welcome from the audience at the scene with rounds of thundering applause.

At 10:45, the Second-Hand Exchange Program kicked off. Nearly one hundred homeowners participated in the event and exchanged the used objects from their own house with the ones offered by their neighbors. While exchanging the used objects, some homeowners even started to invite their new friends to their home. Second-hand exchange is a win-win program because it not only gives a second life to the used objects but also brings the neighbors together.

The Second-Hand Exchange Program & Inauguration Ceremony of the Lei Feng Mission was concluded near noon. Many homeowners loaded their bags with useful second-hand objects as well as housewares gift prepared by Times King City (Changsha). The event mobilized the entire community to various activities and established better relationship among the homeowners. Times King City (Changsha) has staged various activities as an important way to develop the community culture, such as homeowner parties, painting contest & charity auction, basketball games, mid-autumn festival cooking show, badminton matches, to name just a few. These activities have enriched the life of the homeowners and gave them the chance to make friends, a full delivery of the concept of “Livable Times, Happy King City”.
