The most significant feature of Phase V is undoubtedly the Damianchong Water-Culture Landscape, which allows owners to settle down amidst parks and get immersed in the beauty of nature. After yearlong construction, the landscape is almost in shape. According to the Foshan Daily, the wave-shape dikes alongside the river course and the waterside terraces with stone steps and plank paths have been set up; well-proportioned plants are cultivated on and by the river; and iconic columns and pavilions are built on the central square at the middle of the river section (near the intersection of the Second Jianshe Road).

According to the responsible officer at the construction headquarter of Beijiang New District, the total length of the section of the Damianchong River running through this district is 2.5 kilometers. The first phase of the landscape enhancement project covered 720 meters alongside the river from the First Jianshe Road to the Gongye Avenue with a total investment of 38 million yuan, aiming to build a French-style landscape. The second phase is expected to be completed by next year, which will see a rise of an European-style town incorporating the landscape nodes such as the parterre, green islands, oasis and quays. The 30-meter-wide green belt on the south of the river connects the nodes together, forming a 12-hectare green open space with unified but diverse design. We can envision a better recreational site for the homeowners after the Damianchong River Water-Culture Landscape is finalized.
