Changsha Branch General Manager's Assistant Mr. Dai delivered a speech to herald the start of the day's event. He emphasized that the campaign was being held in order to carry forward the spirit of Lei Feng and encourage the culture of community service at Times King City (Changsha), so that the community's owners and staff would eagerly participate in the Lei Feng volunteer service, learn from the sweepers' devotion to their work, value their ethics and foster an atmosphere of cleanliness, civility and harmony. Additionally, Mr. Dai expressed hope that the campaign would publicize the culture and influence of the Times Property brand.
Subsequent to the opening ceremony, the employees of Times Property Changsha Branch distributed the charitable supplies to the street sweepers and voluntarily cleaned the section from Yuelu Avenue to Wangfujin on Tongzipo Road. Apart from clearing the weeds in the parterres on the streets, they endeavored to halt misconduct such as littering and improper parking.
