From March 12 to 13, nearly 200 young people from enterprises like the Six Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University and Guangzhou Radio Group gathered to participate in a "dating" party called "Meeting You in Spring Community" Your Lover Is Around the Corner," organized by Times Spring Community (Guangzhou).

Singing familiar lines like "My love for you is endless...," and "I love your beautiful face...," the young participants expressed their love for each other through popular songs known to all. The emotions of the young people' longing for a home and yearning for love were mirrored by the droplets of rain that fell like curtains from the surrounding trees.

"What's your feeling for me?" a young man asked a young lady in front of him. Such expressions helped created a very moving sentiment throughout the place. Charming dolls were used to convey the innocence and curiosity of the young people. For example, before the doll was passed to another person, the person passing the doll would ask a question of the recipient, who would respond before taking the doll in his or her hands. Thus, the game inspired empathy and understanding among the children. The last person to receive the doll was invited onto the stage in order to ask a question of the young gentleman or lady in whom she or he was interested.

Finally, ten young couples bravely expressed their heartfelt feelings and took the first tentative step toward dating. Young Mr. Huang, from GRG Huitong, had taken a liking to a young lady from Shaanxi Province who worked for the Sixth Affiliated Hospital of Sun Yat-sen University. Mr. Huang said to the lady, "You are more charming than 500 meters of spring breeze. Today we meet each other in Times Spring Community. I hope we'll become friends." Each successful couple would receive movie tickets made available by the sponsor of the activity, which aimed to encourage opportunities for the all-important "next date."
