The Second "Times King City (Zhuhai) Cup" Square Dance Competition Final was held on March 27 in the six-star club at Times King City (Zhuhai). Hosted by Times King City (Zhuhai) together with the Zhuhai Doumen Bureau of Sports, the event was designed to promote community activity, encourage the full implementation of a nationwide physical-fitness program, cover a broader public for physical fitness, and provide a stage for dance enthusiasts to display their skills. 

As a rare grand square dance competition in Zhuhai and its surrounding regions, the Second "Times King City (Zhuhai) Cup" Square Dance Competition was initiated on December 12 last year, drawing 400 teams for a total of more than 5,000 square-dancing fans from different areas, including Zhuhai, Zhongshan and Jiangmen. After several months of challenges and eliminations, 31 teams remained for the finals.

The finalist teams then met for a thrilling, three-hour competition. However, the Xiangwan Sub-district Hongyan Dance Team, with an overwhelming performance of "Nuoli Ge'erma," bested its rivals and emerged as the champion.

The Second "Times King City (Zhuhai) Cup" Square Dance Competition--the longest in the modern history of competitive dancing--concluded in grand style with the award ceremony. Through the performances and awards it was abundantly clear that square dance, which embodies the energy and wisdom of a community, reflects all the positive aspects of life. It's simultaneously a form of folk dance and a popular recreation throughout the country, because it provides opportunities for creative expression while also being a fun form of exercise.

Times King City (Zhuhai) Phase I-IV units are sold out, but Times Shanghui (West Zhuhai) business shops are now on hot sell.
