Culture Complex Holds Its First Speech Salon for Executives

The spring breeze of April swept away the old autumn from the Innovation Park of Culture Complex, revealing its renewed vitality in a suit of verdant green. The park was alive with various activities, one of which was the Culture Complex’s 1st Speech Salon for Executives, held on April 15.

The Culture Complex and the Guangdong Beauty and Cosmetic Association co-sponsored the event as a means to promote the exchange of ideas among Innovation Park entrepreneurs as well as to entice visits by entrepreneurs from elsewhere. Mr. Su Wei, a Peking University professor and a member of the Council of Chinese Speech and Eloquence Association, provided guidance to the entrepreneurs so that they could improve their quality of elocution.

The entrepreneurs began to arrive at the Culture Complex at noon. Shortly thereafter, the Convention Center of Culture Complex was abuzz with nearly 100 entrepreneurs, all of whom engaged their minds and energy in lively conversation. Eventually, the crowd entered the venue. The promotional video of Culture Complex was shown on the expansive LCT screen, displaying the unique creative ambiance the center enjoys. The host, on behalf of Culture Complex, welcomed the guests and audience. Prof. Su Wei, as the guest lecturer, took to the stage and instantly won the admiration of a house full audience by virtue of his witty opening and powerful charisma. The lecture lasted for more than two hours, bringing laughter, cheers and enthusiastic applause.

As the salon drew to a conclusion, a team of guides of the Culture Complex Innovation Park escorted the entrepreneurs around the facility. Everyone spoke highly of the premises in the park--including the Museum of Migrant Workers--and each of the exhibition zones received a good share of visitors. The Western-style restaurant “Er Chong Tian,” with its lovely landscaping, also attracted numerous eyes.

Culture Complex will, from this point forward, partner with the corporate owners in the park to hold more exchange events for companies and promote an interactive atmosphere, thus creating a thoroughly vigorous office environment.
