On May 28, Times King City (Changsha) carried out its first large-scale environmental protection activity--called "Protecting the Environment, Saving the Finless Porpoise"--at its marketing center. It was the second part of a series of activities, including an exhibition of creative environmental protection works and a campaign to obtain hand drawings by 1,000 participants.

The exhibition of creative environmental protection works brought a wave of acknowledgment regarding the need for environmental protection. During the half-month early stage, the marketing center collected 3,000 pieces created by students from more than ten primary schools and numerous other educational training institutions. In all, 1,200 excellent pieces were selected for exhibition through a process of voting online and on-site. The creative works, based on the theme of environmental protection, manifested the children's unconstrained imagination and boundless love for the world of the finless porpoise.

The thousand-person hand-drawing campaign demonstrated the community's strength and determination regarding environmental protection. At 14:30 p.m., despite the rain, nearly 1,000 environmentally minded people and students gathered at the windmill corridor in front of the marketing center and drew, through joint efforts, the finless porpoises with the most beautiful smile.

Environmental protection has become society's most urgent issue, and accordingly Times King City (Changsha) partnered with Morning Weekly to create a series of environmental events to help save the finless porpoise. Let's make a good wish for the eternal youth of Mother Earth through diversified activities.

Upcoming events: On June 4 and 5, the marketing center of Times King City (Changsha) will welcome the first surrealistic show of "Saving the Finless Porpoise VR" in Changsha. Let the finless porpoise take you through an exciting aquatic adventure in an illusory 3-D world. Meanwhile, one interesting activity after another--such as the large-scale exhibition of statues depicting the finless porpoise, timely environmental protection and Children's Day performances--will be held as scheduled. Let's join hands and protect the environment. Let's show the world that we care about the finless porpoise.
