Times Property Donates RMB 5 Million for Cantonese Culture and Education
Thesecond session of the fifth Council of the Overseas Friendship Association ofGuangdong Cantonese Zhujixiang was held on the afternoon of September 8,followed by a ceremony for the Charitable Fund for Cantonese Culture and Educationat which Times Property donated RMB 5 million for the promotion of Cantoneseculture and education. Times Property Director and Vice President Guan Jianhui,together with Ms. Li Lingling, deputy secretary-general of Guangzhou TimesProperty Charity Foundation, attended the meeting on behalf of the organization.

Assisting CantoneseYouth, Promoting Cantonese Culture
The Charitable Fund for Cantonese Culture & Education, established in 2008 bythe Overseas Friendship Association of Guangdong Cantonese Zhujixiang, is dedicated to the eradication of poverty and the promotion, through scholarship grants, of students who have demonstrated outstanding academic performance. In 2014 the Fund launched two projects, called Assisting Cantonese Youth and Caring for Families Who've Lost Their Only Child. In cooperation with Guangzhou Technician College, the Fund opened six Cantonese programs of popular and practical majors, provided financial assistance to 169 Cantonese youths for thecompletion of their three-year programs, and subsequently helped in theirefforts to gain employment or start businesses. The Fund, working together withthe Family Planning Association of Guangdong Province, granted RMB 3000 to RMB5000 to each of the 596 households in six cities--including Shaoguan, who havelost their only child.

For that cause, Times Property has donated more than RMB 300million.
