On October 26, 2016, nine Nanhai District government officials, including Mr. Huang Zhihao, a member of the standing committee of the CPC Foshan Municipal Committee and secretary of the CPC Committee of Nanhai District; Mr. Zheng Yuanyong, the deputy mayor of Nanhai District; Mr. Huang Weiming, the mayor of Dali Town; Mr. Lu Jinxiong, the vice-mayor of Dali Town; Mr. Zhou Yankun, the deputy director (homeland) of the Land and Resources Bureau of Nanhai District; and Mr. Li Jiequn, the deputy director (planning) of the Land and Resources Bureau, visited Culture Complex Phase II of Times Property as part of their participation in the "Planning & Construction Conference of the Global Maker Town" at the International Convention Center.

Mr. Shum Chiu Hung, the chairman of the Board of Directors of Times Property Holdings Limited; Mr. Zhou Siyang, the general manager of Times Property Foshan Branch; Mr. Kang Feng, the general manager of the Investment and Development Center of Times Property Group, and other senior members of management welcomed the officials and escorted them through the Culture Complex. Chairman Shum Chiu Hung described the origin, construction philosophy and government support of Culture Complex for the benefit of the visiting group.

·A visit to Culture Complex Phase II

Subsequently, the officials held the Planning & Construction Conference of the Global Maker Town. The gathering was opened by Mr. Shum Chiu Hung and Ms. Wang Yuanyuan, the general manager of Times Commercial, who introduced the Culture Complex in the context of its environment. Later, Mr. Zhou Siyang reported on the progress and plan of the Global Maker Town project as a means to convey the determination to promote the project and garner support from the government. Then, Mr. Huang Weiming expressed views on approval, policy issues and financial models with respect to the project. Mr. Zhou Yankun offered suggestions on the difficulty of formalities in overall positioning, land planning and land replacement. Mr. Li Jiequn gave an analysis and offered suggestions on control regulations and project planning. Mr. Zheng Yuanyong called on all departments to fully support the project and work in partnership. During the conference, Mr. Shum Chiu Hung hosted a lively discussion among the officials. Secretary Huang Zhihao pointed out that the project, a key project for approval in Nanhai District, reflects the future trend toward the combination of industry, technology and residential life, and should therefore apply for approval by the municipal and provincial governments. Moreover, he explained the concept of a "new maker city."

The conference was an event in which government officials of Nanhai District and Times Property management were able to achieve a consensus. Government agencies pledged full support for the maker town project and offered to promote the development of new maker city in tandem with Times Property.
