The commencement ceremony for the Times Horizon (Guangzhou) project of Guangzhou Branch (North) was held at Middle Jiulong Avenue, Starting Zone (South) of Sino Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, Luogang, in Huangpu District, on the morning of December 21, 2016. Mr. Li Shaoai, general manager of Guangzhou Branch (North); Mr. Zheng Qingshou, senior vice president and Mr. Huang Junyao, assistant vice president of urban development of Ascendas-Singbridge; and other senior officers and staff of Guangzhou Branch (North) attended the momentous occasion.

The ceremony to mark the start of construction got underway with a gun salute and a flock of balloons floating skyward, after which the officers and guests stood together for the ribbon cutting. They also cut piglet together and shared apples. With the excavator digging up the first heap of earth at the site, the eager participants captured the moment by taking pictures. Then, the commencement ceremony came to a successful conclusion as the crowd joined together in a raucous, "Sold out!"

Times Horizon (Guangzhou), the only residential project that faces Phoenix Lake to the south, is located west of Jiulong Avenue and south of Sino Singapore Guangzhou Knowledge City, which is the core zone within the greater Knowledge City. Jointly developed by Times Property and Ascendas Singbridge, Times Horizon (Guangzhou) encompasses approximately 165,000 square meters of land and represents a total floor area of nearly 400,000 square meters. Thus it's projected to accommodate 3,300 families.
