Foshan Residential Building Quality Inspection 2016 Is Held at Times The Shore (Foshan)

The Residential Building Quality Inspection of "Quality Month" of the National Land Urban Building and Water Authority of Chancheng District in Foshan, hosted by the National Land Urban Building and Water Authority and co-organized by several units, was held at Times The Shore (Foshan) on September 8, 2016. Liu Zhicheng, chief engineer of the Bureau of Housing and Urban-Rural Development of Foshan and the executive deputy director general of the National Land Urban Building and Water Authority of Chancheng District; Zheng Jianxing, deputy director general of the National Land Urban Building and Water Authority of Chancheng District; Hu Wei, associate director of the Construction Project Quality Safety Monitoring Station of Chancheng District; the vice-chairman of the Construction Industry Association of Chancheng District of Foshan, journalists from Foshan TV Station and representatives of the co-organizers were present at the construction site, witnessing how Times The Shore (Foshan) promoted an innovative measure called "industrialization of residence." The Journalism Department of Foshan TV Station kept a tracking record and report on the entire event.

The construction site was clean and orderly in observance of high standards and strict requirements.

The gate of the construction site slowly opened at approximately eight o'clock that morning. Nearly 400 excellent representatives of different social circles entered the venue and wrote down their names on a white sign-in board. The open event was held in the construction area, but there was no sign of disorder there. As the journalists observed, the vast site was extremely clean and orderly, with the construction equipment being well classified and placed. On the white steel fences of the venue were various safety slogans in blue. This is a "hard" world filled with steel and cement, but it was decorated by a variety of green plants, which injects nature and comfort into the intensive and strict construction work. Thanks to the pursuit of high quality, such an orderly construction site can be seen each day at Times The Shore (Foshan).

The sign-in

The Project Department of Times The Shore (Foshan) made adequate efforts in all aspects of the event, including the site layout, manpower arrangement, safety and protection, etiquette and reception, tea service and communication. Thanks to these efforts, the open inspection was orderly, allowing all the participants to inspect and observe the construction technique in a safe, comfortable environment.

· Model exhibition zone

The construction was fully open, and the quality of technique could be seen.

The curtain rose on the quality-inspection tour at 8:30, bringing a round of applause from the eager visitors. The person in charge of Times The Shore (Foshan) delivered a speech, including a detailed description of efforts made to apply the technology of "industrialization of residence" and emphasize the strengths of the new technology. Subsequently, all the participants were led to the construction sites of buildings 9 and 10 in order to have a close-distance field inspection.

According to the person in charge of the construction, many other buildings aren't opened for field inspection until the completion of construction. The "completed" buildings make people comfortable, but many problems are covered because the loopholes in construction can't be directly spotted. Contrastingly, the invitation by Times The Shore (Foshan) for journalists and people of all social circles to visit the construction is an open call for participation and viewing. All the materials, technologies and techniques for the construction can be fully seen. Such great openness demonstrates that Times Property and Times The Shore (Foshan) are confident in their quality control and exquisite decoration.

· The team pays a visit

Particularly deserving of mention is the fact that Times Property always seeks innovation and has made remarkable achievements in the development of new projects under the theme of "industrialization of residence." Thus the technology of Industrialization of Residence 1.0 of Times Property has been applied to the projects in Sanshui, Nanhai, Chancheng and Qingyuan, and has earned considerable praise in the field. In the next two years, the supporting technology of Industrialization 2.0 will be continuously upgraded and thereby take the project brand of Times Property to new heights.

Sophisticated techniques give the homes extraordinary quality

What benefits will "industrialization of residence" bring to owners? For a full response to this question, the project construction experts introduced the advantages of the construction techniques with examples, winning the praise and trust of the representatives in attendance.

Technique 1: High-precision building blocks

The traditional building-block technique is prone to great variation, resulting in serious errors in the shape, specification and size of building blocks and causing occasional broken corners and edges. The walls built with these blocks are characterized by large crevices and a lack of evenness. Contrastingly, high-precision building blocks are cut with high-precision lathes and feature a complete shape. Moreover, the error between two of these building blocks is less than 2 mm, allowing no crevices between them. Walls constructed of these blocks are smooth, even and attractive.

Technique 2: Thin plaster on inner wallsMany people are often distressed by the hollow areas, or voids, on the walls in the decoration of their houses. Thus the technique of thin plastering is adopted in Times The Shore (Foshan). Compared with the traditional plastering technique featuring a 2 cm layer of plaster, it can create a wall with a 4 mm layer of plaster. Aside from ensuring the same wall quality, the technique can reduce the weight of the plaster on the walls, lower the probability of crevices and voids on wall surfaces, and ensure maximum usable space in the room.

Technique 3: Water-jet-based napping

Tiling is an indispensable part of the decorating process. However, as a ceramic tile has weight, some ceramic tiles would fall off the wall and thereby diminish the overall beauty. To eliminate such problems, Times The Shore (Foshan) adopts water-jet-based napping in its wall construction. By enhancing the adhesion between ceramic tiles and walls, the technique helps ensure a firmer tie between the walls and their fixtures.

Technique 4: Aluminum-alloy module

The brand-new aluminum-alloy module contributes to cleaner, neater floors and more attractive load-bearing walls. Significantly, it makes the walls more consistent with the high standards of geometric aesthetics in terms of perpendicularity and evenness.

Actually, many other new techniques of "industrialization of residence" have been applied in the construction of Times The Shore (Foshan), but they're omitted here due to the limited space for this article. Through the inspection, the representatives examined the superb construction techniques of Times The Shore (Foshan). The leaders of all levels spoke highly of the event and predicted that Times The Shore (Foshan) would play a leading role in "industrialization of residence" while becoming a benchmark to which other construction projects should aspire.
