"Livable Park Laurel, Restful Qiaonan" Qiaonan Subdistrict & Park Laurel (Guangzhou) Charity Run Ends Successfully
The "Livable Park Laurel, Restful Qiaonan" Qiaonan Subdistrict & Park Laurel (Guangzhou) Charity Color Run co-organized by the Qiaonan Subdistrict Office, the Qiaonan Subdistrict Chamber of Commerce, the Qiaonan Subdistrict Charity Association and Park Laurel (Guangzhou) concluded in great success on July 30, 2016. During the day, the event attracted 20 teams representing various enterprises, institutions and philanthropists from southern Qiaonan, bringing the number of participating runners to more than 500.

The charity run was hosted in picturesque Nanqu Park. Situated adjacent to Park Laurel (Guangzhou), the park is renowned as the lungs of Qiaonan, where the invigorating fresh air helped all the runners meet their top form amid the ecological beauty of Qiaonan subdistrict. The theme of the race was "Charity Color Run," reflecting the sun-loving, outdoor-oriented lifestyle of the new generation.

The participants, ready to demonstrate a compassionate, proactive attitude, arrived at the starting line of the Charity Run ahead of time so that they could place their own colorful handprints on the wall prepared by Park Laurel (Guangzhou).

"Run for Love, Run for Charity!" Even the sweltering summer heat couldn't diminish the participants' enthusiasm.

On the day of the event, Nanqu Park brought together not only enthusiastic, charity-minded runners from all walks of life, but also Ms. Li Zhiping, secretary of CPC Working Committee; Mr. Liao Haowen, deputy secretary of the CPC Working Committee and director of the Qiaonan Subdistrict Office; Mr. He Jianzhong, deputy secretary of the CPC Working Committee and secretary of the CPC Disciplinary Work Committee; Ms. Zhou Aijun, member of the CPC Working Committee; Mr. Ding Li, member of the Party Working Committee; Mr. Hu Wei, president of the Trade Union; Mr. Feng Yi, president of the Qiaonan Subdistrict Chamber of Commerce; Mr. Zhang Zhiqin, president of the Qiaonan Subdistrict Charity Association; and Mr. Dong Yu, assistant to the general manager of Times Property Guangzhou Branch (South). Mr. Dong Yu delivered a wonderful speech, and everyone acted together in the effort to pass on more love.
