The Housing and Construction Bureau of Panyu District organized a gathering of approximately 150 people from all developers, contractors and construction supervisors in Panyu District to the site of Times Property's Park Laurel project in order to hold to an exchange meeting on construction-work quality and safety on June 27, 2017. Chen Guoqiao, deputy director of the Housing and Construction Bureau of Panyu District, was present along with Gu Jianhui, director of the Quality Supervision Department and Zhu Huizhong, director of the Safety Supervision Department.

The first section of the meeting was one in which Deputy Director Chen Guoqiao elaborated on the significance of this activity as a means to improve the quality and safety of construction work. Subsequently, Tu Jian, the general manager of Maoming Third Construction Co., Ltd., introduced the new materials, new techniques and remote video monitoring adopted for use in the Park Laurel project.

At the second section of the meeting, the participants were divided into two groups by personnel from Park Laurel's Project Department. Those groups then proceeded to the show zone of the model home, the major structure and the masonry plastering demonstration buildings in order to learn about the new techniques and processes employed in the project.

After the visit, at a seminar chaired by the Housing and Construction Bureau of Panyu District, Huang Suiyong, the deputy general manager of Guangzhou Branch (South), and Li Sheng, a project manager with Park Laurel (Guangzhou), briefed the groups on the new materials and techniques, model home, project management system, video monitoring system, visual management and the mobile-phone-based control platform adopted by the project. Moreover, the current development trend of the industry was discussed with the assistance of experts invited from the construction industry.

The success of this activity fully displayed the premium quality and workmanship upheld by Times Property and the Park Laurel development. Further communication between the experts and the participants facilitated a deeper understanding of industrial technology for housing construction and safety measures on the construction site. Accordingly, Park Laurel will continue to work with all partners to create excellence in the construction work of Panyu District, thereby enhancing the district’s construction quality and on-site technologies.
