The Housing and Construction Bureau of Panyu District organized representatives of the Construction Industry Association's membership in construction, design, supervision, labor affairs and utility installation in order to visit and study the site quality of Park Laurel (Guangzhou) on the afternoon of July 13 as part of an effort to promote the "Excellence" campaign for quality construction work in Panyu District. Chen Guoqiao, deputy director of the Housing and Construction Bureau of Panyu District, was present along with Gu Jianhui, director of the Quality Supervision Department.

The visitors were divided into two groups in order to conduct a field survey of the display area of the guide template, customized template tensile sheet technology for tower buildings, techniques of piping integration, thin plastering on interior walls, all-concrete exterior wall and plaster-free exterior-wall tiling technique, and high-precision bricklaying technique on thin walls. The technicians at the site briefed the participants, sharing new techniques and important features in the construction of Park Laurel.

The success of the exchange meeting has thus promoted the fine quality of Park Laurel project and enhanced communication between contractors, designer and workers in the construction industry. Additionally, it opened communication channels for the industry and the companies. The new techniques and technologies unveiled in the event have strengthened the technological innovative capability and awareness of the construction industry in Panyu. Moreover, the initiative to maintain a high standard on project quality and strive for premium projects in the construction industry has been accelerated.
