In order to solve the problem of imbalanced development among urban and rural areas in Guangdong and encourage the relevant supporting departments and all walks of society to support the depth of the poverty-stricken regions, Mr. Wang Yang, a member of the Political Bureau of the CPC Central Committee and then the secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee advocated and proposed the establishment of Poverty Relief Day in Guangdong Province. With the approval of the State Council, June 30 has, since 2010, been designated as Poverty Relief Day in Guangdong Province. To answer the calls of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and Guangdong government to fulfill social responsibility, Times Property has supported the Poverty Relief Day in Guangdong Province with full strength for eight consecutive years since 2010.

This year, Times Property committed to donating RMB 15 million to support the poverty alleviation and charity program as well as education and poverty-reduction programs in the cities of Guangdong.

On the morning of June 30, Poverty Relief Day in Guangdong Province was held at Guangdong Zhudao Guest House. It was attended by a host of civic luminaries, including Mr. Hu Chunhua, secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee; Ms. Li Yumei, director of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress and secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Standing Committee of the Guangdong Provincial People's Congress; Ren Xuefeng, deputy secretary of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee and secretary of the CPC Guangzhou Municipal Committee; Zeng Zhiquan, a member of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee; and Deng Haiguang, deputy governor of Guangdong Province and other officials of the provincial and municipal government. Mr. Guan Jianhui, Times Property Group executive director and vice president and chairman of the Supervisory Board of Times Charity Foundation, was also invited to attend the event on behalf of Times Property in order to be received by the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee Secretary Mr. Hu Chunhua.

Zeng Zhiquan, a member of the CPC Guangdong Provincial Committee announced the results for 2016 Hongmian Cup Campaign for Poverty Relief Day in Guangdong Province. Times Property was awarded the Gold Cup for 2016.

Times Property has led the domestic real-estate industry and established Time Property Charity Foundation in 2003, pledging to donate more than RMB 300 million to support education, health care, poverty alleviation, natural disaster, culture and art along with other charitable areas. In fact, the amount of donation to poverty alleviation has already exceeded RMB 88 million.

The launch ceremony of 2017 Poverty Relief Day in Guangdong Province in Guangzhou, as part of the campaign called "Deepening Guangzhou's Charitable Action for Citizens and Creating a National Charitable City," sponsored by the Bureau of Civil Affairs of Guangzhou Municipality, was held at the Guangzhou Municipal Government Auditorium on the afternoon of June 30. Times Property was invited to attend. In the ceremony, Guangzhou Mayor Wen Guohui received Ms. Li Juan, general manager of the Times Property Group Administrative Services Center and secretary-general of Times Charity Foundation, and expressed appreciation for Times Property's many years of contributions to Guangzhou charities.

Times Property will, in the future, continue its effort toward the development of social welfare and will provide continued support in actions designed to alleviate poverty, thereby contributing to the cause of public welfare.
