In February 2017, a panel of experts from Guangdong Institute for Social Policy arrived at Times Museum for inspection. They made a rigorous assessment on four dimensions--"basic conditions," "internal governance," "business activities and integrity recommendations" and "social evaluation"--encompassing 123 indicators.
Among the 164 social organizations under assessment, Times Museum has the honor of becoming the only art institution in Guangdong to receive the highest rating. The distinction affirmed the value of highly standardized internal management, sound business development and leadership. Our museum has set a good example for private art museums, demonstrating strength and professionalism in setting a direction for self-development while creating a platform for high-quality cultural exchanges.
Registered as a nonprofit organization (private nonprofit organization) with the Guangdong Bureau of Civil Organization Administration in October 2010, Guangdong Times Museum has adhered to "academic independence" and actively promoted the development of contemporary Chinese art. It has provided, for more than 200,000 audience members, a total of 31 large-scale art exhibitions in a variety of art forms along with more than 1,300 public education projects. Today, as one of China's most important professional and charitable private art museums, its contributions and stature are known throughout the South China region and the global realm of contemporary art.
Times Property has always been committed to education, healthcare, culture and other charitable causes. The ratings it has received stand as recognition of the standard and professional internal management of the two organizations as well as their development and positioning.
As a positive member of society, Times Property will fulfill its duty of social responsibility in an ever-more active and standardized manner while contributing its share to the community at large.
