Witnessing by government agencies such as the Guangzhou Urban Renewal Bureau, the State-Owned Asset Supervision and Administration Commission of the Guangzhou Municipal Government, the People's Government of Huangpu and Huangpu Urban Renewal Bureau, Vanlead Group, Vanlead Property; Mr. Ye Haojun, vice president of Times Property Group; and Mr. Li Shaoai, general manager of Guangzhou Company (East), the opening ceremony for the Huangpu Chemical Plant Transformation Project was held on the morning of August 29. The project heralds the start of a long-awaited collaboration between Times Property and Vanlead Property, a subsidiary of the Vanlead Group.

Amid a royal salute and joyous cheering, the respected leaders, bearing shiny new shovels with red silk, brought soil for the cornerstone.

Today's cornerstone is a symbol of tomorrow's glory! The project has been developed by Huangpu Chemical Plant to serve as a strong industrial foundation for Huangpu District and high-end resources for innovation and entrepreneurship. The ultimate goal is to establish a platform economy and headquarters economy models with an integration of business office, e-commerce, technological development, trade logistics and financial services.

The Huangpu Chemical Plant Transformation Project is located in the central ecological corridor of the Binjiang New Town area, which is well known for "one belt and four corridors leading the Pearl River, and two centers and six areas shaping the green city." The location boasts ready access to historical, cultural and ecological resources including Longtoushan Park, Nanhai Fane and the Pearl River. It's adjacent to Miaotou Station of the BRT line, and various bus routes lead to and from Tianhe. Line 13 of Guangzhou Metro (to Miaotou) is scheduled to open by the end of 2017, resulting in a convenient 20-minute ride to Zhujiang New Town. With natural geographical advantages and huge opportunities for development, the Huangpu Chemical Plant Transformation Project is sure to enhance the district's overall image, intensify land utilization and improve the value of land use.
