The heat of summer couldn't hinder the enthusiasm of outdoor-sports enthusiasts. The training sessions of the Parent-Child Mountaineering Camp sponsored by Times Aerobic City (Guangzhou) were concluded at Shiling Park on August 19. The entire program enjoyed great support from area families and participants, who gleefully partook of all the fun.

The activity was facilitated by a trainer of some renown in Guangzhou's running circle. Songfeng had presented a customized training camp for parents and children runners.

The training camp adopted scientific training methods according to the characteristics of Asian sports. Thus the entire course was based on the principles of improvement and the characteristics of athletic training. It combined many aspects--including rehabilitation, research methods and the prevention of sports injuries--to make the training safer, more complete and more fun. Certainly, everyone in attendance benefited.

The training camp was sponsored by Times Aerobic City (Guangzhou), a Zengcheng-Licheng area community surrounded by mountains and lakes on both sides. Jiaoshiling Park, covering approximately 6,117 mu, and East Lake Park are adjacent to the gate of the community. The project makes full use of the natural environment and thus uses sports as its main theme.
