The "2018 Times China Foshan 50km Hike" title-sponsored by Times China was held on March 31, with routes beginning in Nanhai, Chancheng, Shunde, Gaoming and Sanshui. Approximately 308,000 people from Foshan, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Zhuhai, Qingyuan, Huizhou and other places gathered in Foshan to trace the urban charm of Foshan with their footsteps and experience the renewal of this great urban environment.

"Beautiful Foshan: All the Way Forward"

The event, billed as "Beautiful Foshan: All the Way Forward 2018 Times China Foshan 50km Hike," with title sponsorship by Times China, was held on March 31. People from cities throughout the country gathered to witness the grandeur of the scene and see the dramatic changes that have taken place in Foshan.

Since the first Foshan 50km Hike event in 2016, this all-ages spectacle has become a beautiful emblem for the city of Foshan. According to the official data, more than 308,000 people participated in the hike, giving it the atmosphere of a national carnival.

At eight o'clock in the morning, a grand opening ceremony was held at the starting point of the Nanhai route in Huoshui Park. Wang Yuping, director of the Provincial Sports Bureau, Wei Qiwen, director of the Foshan Municipality Sports Bureau, Yu Jin, deputy mayor of Foshan City, and Mr. Shum Chiu Hung, board chairman of Times China Holdings Limited, were on hand to start the 2018 Times China Foshan 50km Hike.

Times China employees formed large-scale square arrays, and with positivity and enthusiasm they welcomed the 2018 Times China Foshan 50km Hike, brining loud applause from the thronging spectators.

Amid the freshness of spring, from the rising of the sun to the falling of the night, all Times China employees were dressed in Chinese red, walking in the city, dedicated to spreading the healthful, active lifestyle and attitude of Times China to more people.

My Times: Fearless All the Way

The weather was pleasant in Foshan, with abundant sunshine. The beauty of major landmarks in all areas was richly evident to all who participated in the walk, and each route was resplendent with the blooming of flowers.

Together with the city of Foshan, Times China helped in all aspects of the hike. In the glory of this event it used two highlights--the "most energetic" and "the coolest"--to encourage more people to participate in the event and witness the glorious changes of Foshan, a city known for its undeniable charm.

Most Energetic: Times Fuel Station

Times China sent out energetic cheerleaders and cute characters, with wonderful dances, to welcome the crowds, cheer for the people of the city and encourage their mastery of the challenge.

Coolest: Times Power Station

Times China encouraged thetrekkers with special equipment and attractive backgrounds along the route.Additionally, members of the general public were given fun hairpins and "energylanguage" tattoo stickers, all of which were well received.

Another first: Participants ofthe five hiking routes meet at Foshan Century Lotus Stadium

The participants in theNanhai, Chancheng, Shunde, Gaoming and Sanshui routes, after more than tenhours, walked proudly into Foshan Century Lotus Stadium to complete themagnificent event.

Mr. Shum Chiu Hung, board chairman of Times China Holdings Limited also reached the finish line, beaming with the energy of a true Times patriot.

Many citizens said that in addition to their physical and mental health, the 50-kilometer hike could also let them truly feel the local customs of Foshan and the constantly changing urban landscape, thus conveying the healthy, vibrant side of Foshan.
