A grand commencement ceremony for the Times Cloud Atlas (Sanshui) project kicked off at 10:30 in the morning on February 7, 2018, with the attendance of Foshan Branch General Manager Yu Yongguang, Foshan Branch Deputy General Manager Shang Tianlong, the general manager of the Third Investment Development Division and other officials.

The crowd stood in awe of the brightly colored flags and crackling fireworks as the ceremony got underway. The senior officers, in observance of tradition, burned incense and cut roasted piglet to wish for the success and prosperity of the project. They were followed by a troupe of six dancing lions, who offered earnest blessings for the commencement. Finally, with happiness and blessings the guests at the ceremony happily shared the toasted piglet and apples. The ceremony concluded after a group picture of the personnel and guests was taken.

The Times Cloud Atlas (Sanshui) project is located next to the Nanshan Bus Terminal in Sanshui District, within close proximity of the Nandan Mountain scenic area and the Dakengshan Forest Park.
