On March 30, 2019, the Times China Foshan 50KM Hike kicked off. More than 345,000 people took part in the event, as the limitless charm of the city was abundantly displayed.

At 7:30 a.m. on March 30, the launch ceremony for the hike took place at the Desheng Cultural Square, the start of the Shunde stage.
