The Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area Technology Business Incubators Development Forum jointly organized by Xinhuanet Guangdong Co., Ltd., Guangzhou University and the Guangzhou Science Business Incubators Association was held in Guangzhou on January 22 under the auspices of the Department of Science and Technology of Guangdong Province, and the Guangzhou Municipal Science and Technology Bureau.

"The Top 20 Guangzhou Technology Business Incubators" list was announced during the event, and Culture Complex (Guangzhou Zhide Technology Business Incubator) was recognized as a national incubator with excellent incubation services and significant incubation achievements.

National authorities, experts in the incubator-industry chain, top names in the financial industry, including those from investment and financing institutions, well-known domestic incubators, and leaders of maker spaces and related enterprises were invited to the forum. In-depth discussions were held in regard to topics such as the development of scientific and technological innovation in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area, and the trends and challenges facing technology business incubators. Additionally, the attendees shared their experiences and explored the development trend of incubators amid new opportunities in order to take the incubators to a higher level.

The Trendy Technology Park of Culture Complex--a project undertaken by Times Commercial--is the benchmark of industrial parks in South China. The gross planned floor area is 400,000 square meters. The Culture Complex is committed to becoming the first industrial park in South China with innovative science and technology industry at its core, thereby promoting the integration of technology innovation in the trendy industry. Moreover, the park has a full industry chain featuring production R&D, design, marketing and channel development. It has attracted almost 650 enterprises in trend-setting technology, cultural creativity, the Internet and various other aspects.

The Culture Complex is also dedicated to the improved incubation capacity of technology enterprises. In 2013 it was recognized as a national technology business incubator, having formed an entire business incubation chain featuring an enterprise nursery, incubator and accelerator.

In 2018, the Culture Complex was recognized by the Guangzhou Municipal Industry and Information Technology Commission and the Guangzhou Municipal Urban Renewal Bureau as the only pilot project in Baiyun District on the basis of quality improvement and efficiency enhancement. With further support from this policy, the park will continue to gather leading industries, enhance innovation capabilities and improve park services.

The Culture Complex, as it focuses on providing services to the trend-setting technology industry, will build a trend-setting technology agglomerating platform and an internationally competitive trend-setting technology ecosystem. Thus, the development will establish a new pattern of Guangzhou's trend-setting technology sector, devoting itself to the transformation and upgrading of urban industry and economic development.
