An Exchange Symposium Is Held Between Times China and the Heyuan Municipal Government

He Weiliang, the deputy mayor of Heyuan City; Yin Chengsheng, the deputy general secretary of Heyuan CPC Committee; Huang Fuping, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Heyuan Municipal Natural Resources Bureau; Ling Jinwen, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Heyuan Municipal Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and other officials visited Times Property Center on the morning of April 29, 2020, and attended the symposium with top executives from Times China, including Shum Chiu Hung, board chairman and president of Times China; Lu Qing, vice president of Times China and general manager of the Investment Development Center; Chen Tao, general manager of Heyuan and Meizhou Branch of Times China; Zhang Jianzhong, general manager of the Investment Development Management Center of Times China, and Zhang Xiaomeng, the deputy general manager of the Investment Development Department of Heyuan and Meizhou Branch of Times China.

As the symposium began, Heyuan Deputy Mayer He said that after Times China initiated business in Heyuan in 2019, Times King City -- the first Times project in Heyuan -- was well received in its March 2020 launch. The enthusiasm for the project, despite the pandemic, exemplified the strong reputation enjoyed by the brand developer.

At the symposium, Huang Fuping, secretary of the Leading Party Members' Group of the Heyuan Municipal Natural Resources Bureau, gave an introduction to the advantages of Heyuan in location. As a city situated on the Pearl River Delta and a member in the Shenzhen-Dongguan-Huizhou-Heyuan-Shanwei metropolitan complex, Heyuan was integrated within the one-hour life cycle of core cities near Guangzhou and Shenzhen. Additionally, Huang provided details on the economy of Heyuan in 2020 as well as the land use planning for central urban areas and the plans of collection, reservation and transfer of land.

Shum Chiu Hung, board chairman and president of Times China, extended heartfelt greetings to officials from the Heyuan Government, and introduced the basic information and future strategic development of the Company. Shum pointed out that as one of the Top 500 private enterprises in China, Times China was engaged in diversified business, including property development, industrial and commercial operations, urban renewal and community service, and had developed into an excellent provider of urban development services. He also expressed hope that the two sides would cooperate in other areas.

Chen Tao, general manager of Heyuan and Meizhou Branch of Times China, presented his opinions by detailing difficulties in investment and development in Heyuan. He offered hope that the government would further support private enterprises to tackle issues such as allocation of parking spaces, limited building heights, pre-sales conditions and frozen funds in accounts under supervision.

By adhering to the idea of efficient but candid communication, attendees have deepened mutual understanding with this symposium. Thus, the gathering created a positive atmosphere for communication between the government and Times China whereby the two sides could proceed with strategic cooperation.
