Groundbreaking ceremonies for Times Flourish (Huangpu) and Times Horizon (Huangpu) of Guangzhou Branch (East) were held on the morning of September 28, 2020. The event was attended by more than 90 people, including Mr. Li Shaoai, the general manager of Guangzhou Branch (East), officials of the sub-district and village committees, heads of cooperative institutions and the entire management team of Guangzhou Branch (East).

As the COVID-19 pandemic has not yet come to an end, protective measures remain in place. Therefore, to help ensure public health, the Project of Times Flourish (Huangpu) and Times Horizon (Huangpu) employed temperature-detection and disinfection measures at the sites.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Times Flourish (Huangpu) began at 9:30 a.m., followed by the volley of crackling firecrackers and brightly colored banners. Before the celebration, General Manager Li Shaoai of Guangzhou Branch (East) delivered a speech, expressing a wish for tremendous success in the project. Subsequently, the management members -- led by General Manager Li -- burned incense to pray for the success of the projects. A salvo of poppers rang throughout the site, the lion dance was prepared, and the lions' eyes were painted in accordance with tradition. Then the leaders cut roast piglet, shared apples and gathered for a joyful commemorative photo.

The groundbreaking ceremony for Times Horizon (Huangpu) got underway at 11:00 a.m. The two ceremonies went very smoothly, implying that good luck will come in pairs for Guangzhou Branch (East).

Times Flourish (Huangpu)

The Times Flourish (Huangpu) project, situated on Xiangxue Road adjacent to Xiangxue Metro Station and Guangzhou Yuyan Middle School, is the fifth project of Times China in the district of the same name. The project has a plot area of approximately 23,400 square meters and a gross floor area of roughly 97,600 square meters. The three home layouts range from 75 to 105 square meters, and the project consists of four high-rise towers with a total of 658 units.

Times Horizon (Huangpu)

Located on Yonghe Avenue adjacent to Xiangxue Park and Yunfeng Road Station of the Tram Line 2 now under construction, the project features a plot area of approximately 100,000 square meters and a gross floor area of almost 530,000 square meters. Its five home layouts range from 75 to 120 square meters, being arranged in nine high-rise residential buildings, seven super-high-rise residential buildings and an apartment complex. In all, there are 3,700 home units.
