The Asia Pacific Property Awards

The Asia Pacific Property Awards, a British real-estate industry award founded in 1995, is affiliated with the authoritative International Property Awards. The independent panel of judges, chaired by members of the House of Lords of the British Parliament -- including Lord Caithness, Lord Best, the Earl of Liverpool and Lord Thurso -- consists of more than 80 industry experts. The judges conduct a comprehensive evaluation by focusing on design, quality, service, innovation, originality and sustainability, all of which is meant to recognize the highest achievements of companies in various areas of the real-estate industry. Due to its stringent evaluation conditions, the Asia Pacific Property Awards program is known as “the ‘Oscars’ of Real Estate” and is thus a prestigious award in the region.

Design philosophy of the Times E-PARK (Panyu) project

The Times E-PARK (Panyu) project is a new type of urban renewal against the backdrop of urbanization in China: upgrading and transforming the project during the construction process. Phase II, which encompasses approximately 100,000 square meters, serves as a green urban complex integrating office spaces, boutique community commerce, a multipurpose theater and exhibition areas. Phase II is in turn a response to the pattern established by Phase I. With urban renewal as the starting point, Phase II adapts to the urbanization process in Guangzhou through transformation, additional construction and upgrading. Times E-PARK (Panyu), a 250,000-square-meter Times Commercial development situated over two metro lines, is located at the interchange of Guangzhou Metro lines 3 and 7 as well as at the junction of Hanxi Avenue and Xinguang Express Road.

The project consists of two phases. Phase I -- delivered in 2018 and is now fully leased -- is hailed as “the most beautiful commercial street in Panyu”, thanks to its commercial amenities. Consequently, it has attracted multiple Fortune Global 500 companies and famous consumer brands such as Starbucks, HEYTEA, Diandoude and Yueji.

The Phase II project, to be unveiled at the end of 2021, covers three grade-A office buildings with a volume of nearly 70,000 square meters, a creative social shopping center of 30,000 square meters, Times CR8, a 1,000-square-meter arts venue and a distinctive commercial area of 3,000 square meters.

It is a LEED Platinum-certified masterpiece jointly designed by EID Architecture (architecture), C&C Design (interior design), Aoya Design (garden) and other top design institutions, creating a green metropolitan space in Panyu.
